My family history is bizarre. We're basically mutts; a little bit from all over Europe and a little bit of Native American, nothing fancy as far as I can tell.

Ah... yeah, mutt through and through. English, German, Irish, Scottish, probably some French (Definite french canadian, in any case) from the European bit, then Native American (Creek), Jew, and a very strong possibility (only just shy of surety) of some African coming in with the native american. And those are just the definites :P

Most americans are hilariously "mixed breed", really.

Thankfully, being a mixed-breed is only really a problem if you're racist as well. It's not like we have royal bloodlines or w/e that must remain "pure".

I'm half Austrian, half Hungarian. Both families managed to escape to Australia during the second world war... We don't exactly talk about the family history that much, so I don't really know that much even now, but from what I can gather things didn't go very well for the rest of the family.  :(

Roughly 40% english, 40% dutch with the remainder mainly scandinavian (swedish, norwegian, danish) and a small part Spanish, Moroccan and Arabic.

Half Irish, half North Korean.  I'm descended from terrorists and communists.  Fear me!
Also on the Korean side apparently there's at least one king way back on my grandfathers side and my grandmothers family was incredibly, obscenely, fabulously, impossibly wealthy.

Edit: I'm talking Wayne, Stark, and McDuck fortunes combined, added to Dethklok's, and then throw in Smaug's hoard just to be safe.  Then triple it.  I'm barely even exaggerating.

Edit^2: I wasn't actually serious about the IRA bit.  At least I think so.  I like to add that bit in when I'm talking to people just to freak them out, though.

Bowen, I guess?  I've never met any members of that side of the family, personally, just know the things my mom's told me.  Also my grandfather on the Irish side of the family was part of the RCMP and fit both the "Irish cop" and "Mountie" stereotypes perfectly.

One strand of my family was minor gentry. They owned/rented a mansion in England (records aren't sure) and despite having a hungarian name (lugar) have been english through and through.
