Just finished reading "The Eyre Affair" (Jasper Fforde) for the third time.
My god, that book is damn good. If you're at all interested in Fantasy or Science Fiction, I definitely recommend it to you.

Went to Dept. of Labor, they decided to keep me at the same place I've been working. Not bad. Not good. But neutral is usually better than bad. In and out in exactly 45 minutes.

The funny part is that on some level I knew this was going to happen. Seriously, I left work yesterday, despite that it was supposed to be my last day, knowing I'd probably be back Wednseday.


Also, new DF version. Looking at the new feature list, I think I need new underwear.

Happy Forever Alone Day, Bay-12!!!

Another holiday with an absurd pagan background that has been exploited more than a tourist attraction that shows how shallow your mate really is, which is better worth spending a few unecessary bucks (way cheaper the following day) on boxes of chocolates and 90% sugary candy hearts.

Today, we'll be alone together.

With the new release of DF, I might spend some time playing cupid with the townies. However, they keep screaming and running away from me. I don't understand why. I'm painting the town red. :P

Working out the ramifications of a culture where murder is not only an acceptable method of improving one's social status, but the expected method is surprisingly fun. This is why I love worldbuilding.

I had the same reaction.


Also, just read about thermite again. Seems like it can be very easy to make. Rust, aluminum, and magnesium sparklers aren't exactly hard to aquire.
