Depends on who you're trying to date.  Also, even though I know I am the big champion for the enormous age difference, I actually do think the 20s/teenager combo isn't such a good one.  The first dude I dated was 22 when I was 18, and it really didn't work so well as I made all of the rapid emotional changes one undergoes upon just leaving home for the first time.  We couldn't understand each other.  I was really mature about some things, but there was a lot of stuff I just couldn't know how to handle well, and that was straining because the other guy was also too young to deal with that...

Well, anyway.  I wish you the best of luck.

From colorado it was 5 years difference. Here in Utah, uhh well apparently by the time in high school senior year more than a half of the students are already engaged :/

I'm more worried by the horrifying implications of a six year old going after a ten year old, honestly. And one year old kids can only mack on folks eight years and up? That's kinda'... something. I think all kind of creepiness flags are triggered in either case.

You forget that the upper threshold is twice your age minus 14. If you're younger than 14 then your upper threshold is below your lower threshold, meaning that it's creepy either way.
