I'd say yes, weirdly enough.  Bastion's music is one of the best I've heard in a game for a long time.  In most games, the music is mostly unnoticeable and is just there to mix with the other elements of the game.  But in Bastion it makes every moment a hundred times better, especially when the music goes crazy.

I've often said that music is the most often overlooked aspect of games. It's very important, but it gets so little attention by so many developers.

I turn music off in almost every game within the first few minutes.  It just gets old so quickly.  I'd rather have really immersive ambient sound effects.
