I wouldn't doubt I've met Blargityblarg in real life once before.

I went to the Melbourne Show with my sister and a few of her friends and some of her friend's friends, and there was a guy from Blarg's town who mentioned Minecraft and Dwarf Fortress. :P

Could've been him, could've been someone else.

Which year? Last year was the only Show I went to as a non-child. Also i don't remember talkin' nerd stuff with any red-headed fellas.

Prequel has made me ridiculously happy today. Parts of it are just far more hilarious than they should be.

Also, I now know where a very familiar red-eyed person is from, who I think was someone's avatar here or something. Kind of odd to notice a character in their original context and be like "Hey it's them!" though; at first I thought it was a reference to something.


Also, chili from scratch. Both the making and eating parts.

Thanks to the government's recent lightening of water restrictions, our vegetable garden and four accompanying fruit trees have all fruited. The five zucchini plants are sprouting like wildfire, throwing a fully grown zucchini our way every five days or so (some suffering from Blossom End Rot)... the Peach tree has finally fruited for the first time ever and has grown the most succulent peaches I have ever had in my life... the Cayenne peppers are beginning to finally fruit... the beans are climbing over everything and throwing beans left right and centre- and making the garden look generally pretty. The pumpkins are sprouting, the lemon tree is keeling over under the weight of lemons growing and even the sickly nectarine tree has provided some fruit.
Even the Passionfruit vine that grew from our side fence is fruiting, and then some!

My aunty made me laugh when she visited our backyard for the first time ever (we've only lived here TEN YEARS... D: and it's not as if she lives far away) and mentioned 'Wow, your backyard is huge!'. I found it very funny because where we live now has by far the smallest backyard out of the places WITH backyards.

Back in Oakleigh, we had a huge backyard AND an empty lot that the owner allowed us to use for gardening. Mind you, my aunt's lived in Newmarket and Flemington so she was lucky to even HAVE a backyard.

Found out on friday that WoTC is going to re-release first edition D&D material. I almost had an aneurysm from the awesome. No more using retro-clones to run old-school D&D campaigns for me!
