I love the whole conversation on proms. How just about everyone has a story about how they instead stayed at home and played vidjer gaems! :D BAY12 REPRESENT! ...Me myself, well, we don't have proms over here. We did have something similiar at the end of Grade 12, but I dropped out in Grade 11. :-\ Oh jeez, if I had gone I would have undoubtably embarassed myself in some spectacular fashion, so perhaps best for everyone, eh?

I am planning on starting a LP of Fable TLC!
I was inspired by everyone's sudden surge of making LPs, so I thought I'd join the boat.

I decided on Fable because I have fond memories of it and it has pretty decent customisation (well, morality and armour, and sexuality.)

Have a look if you want, I haven't actually started yet.

Playing XCOM, Super Human difficulty. Screwed up, and aliens managed to find my base and attacked. The one rookie who survived the initial firefight, equipped with only a laser pistol and a stun rod, proceeded to fight off his zombified team mates and the chryssalids that emerged.

next mission he dies like a btich to a single plasma pistol round.


It has been WAY too long since I played this.

We  didn't have a prom but also had something similar at my school. It was a complete failure. Most of the people interested in going had relationships with people from other schools. Our school banned inviting people from outside the school. In the end most didn't go and instead met up in a local pub. Those that did go didn't go in pairs but as a group of friends. Living a ridiculous distance from school and said pub I didn't bother going; Travel is a real headache where I live.

Last year I went to the Prom with a friend, but I'm probably going to stay home this year unless someone asks me to go with them. To me, it was like a normal dance except that it was more uncomfortably warm, and there wasn't a lot of room to dance.

Talk about a Notch explosion, they really want the guy to cough up a couple mills and throw it to GSC. Not a bad plan since Notch made millions but its up to the guy if he wants to save them and gain more worshipers.

What are you talking about? I have a webserver on my phone that supports PHP. I could literally host a web forum from my pocket. I also use it for netflix, remote desktop, etc.

I know. A little part of me dies every time these futuristic handheld computers gets called a "phone". Like the way my brain kind of locked up when I saw that you could buy a phone plan that did not include voice calls.

A little part of me dies whenever these futuristic do-everything machines gets called a computer.

My brain kind of locked up when I saw you could buy a "computer" that didn't have vacuum tubes or punch-cards.
