A free one I found called SharpDevelop.  Apparently made by some guys who write C# For Dummies books.

Actually, I'm totally up in the air now.  I can't decide between C# (because it's simply-written, and I've found a good tutorial for it), C++ (because it works on non-Windows platforms, and there's a world of documentation for it, which might be too much), and Java (because I used to use it, and it's more straightforward than C++ is writing).

The real answer is, I have no idea what to do.  What I really need is an instructor, because it doesn't really matter what language I use as long as I can learn how to use it.  I really need to pick one before I read too much documentation on all three of them and get myself confused on what applies to which.

The latest Sherlock episode was pretty good (this one based on A Scandal in Bohemia).  Kindof crazy throughout of course.

The next one's Hound of the Baskervilles, so I suppose I should get that read by next week.

I feel like LA Noire would really benefit from a Malkavian mod.  The evidence search especially lends itself well to it.  Cole picks up something invisible and says "I don't think this is anything"

I really want to play LA Noire at some point.  I suppose I missed the Steam sale but it'd probably be best if I played it on my Brother's PS3 anyway so that we can sort of play together.  We've done a lot of things together already and it sounds like a fun idea.

Yeah I played LA Noire with a friend.  It's kindof cool since you can discuss it and get into cases more (and it improved my doubt vs truth accuracy anyway).  Speaking of which, I just remembered I'm borrowing this game, better give it back soon oops.

I'm not sure if this counts as something to be "Happy" about, but I appreciate the absurdity of it.  Me and Duke were just talking Steam Sales, and I bought Shogun 2 as a White Elephant Christmas present for him, at the exact moment that he bought it for himself.

Not exactly Gift of the Magi, but the fact that Steam has absolutely no refunds for any reason puts in that territory.
