edit: so i finally caved in and told my parents to pick me up on christmas eve. Moving to Utah and ready to smack some moronsmormons around with my bible.

I just finished Mass Effect, the first. It surprised me, the pleasant kind of surprise. Not because it was especially good in any game-play way, and the story was pretty much the same as in every Bioware game since KOTOR... But I liked it.

I think it was the pacing. It a very good length. It didn't drag out the way Bioware games usually do, but it didn't feel cramped either. Not even the mindless Bear Ass-gathering quests. While driving around looking for resources was never fun, of course, I finished those quests almost exactly when the repetitiveness became unbearable. Same with the main quest. By the time I started feeling that familiar "this formula is getting tiresome" there was nothing left to do but the last main quest missions. I like that.

Many things, vacation, spending time with friends, chocolate and playing Blood bowl. Oh and sleeping a lot. Sleeping is awesome.

I'm happy that I got my air purifier today. It's only been running for about a half hour, and I'm already telling the difference.

I hope that this makes the difference and stops my constant coughing and asthma attacks.

So I have a mafia game to mod and write flavour for, an RTD to update (the other one's dead it seems so eh), as well as two forts to handle.

They'll actually be announcing a DVD of the events of E3 2012.

The only thing I can think of to compare this to would be if you took Sid Meier's Gettysburg! and added Magic: The Gathering.
