500 words is about two pages double-spaced.

Still a baby essay though, I know.  It's an online class and it's African Art so there's not exactly a huge amount of material to work with.  I could only find like seven or eight examples of Christian Lattier's art online, and I'm pretty sure I broke thermodynamics by writing 500 words with less than 500 words of useful subject material.
