I don't think she does, no.  Still, she has other wonderful... features.

Would those features happen to be extensive property holdings?

Not vast tracts of land, no, but there is a nice view at the least.

Also, she's a very nice and well-educated person.  Minds out of the gutter!

Unfortunately, no, she has no facility whatsoever with the high, purely artful science that is mathematics.

I don't think I've ever ventured there.

Is maths really a science? I mean science is concerned with finding patterns in the natural world with empirical evidence, while maths tends to work without any of that. It is more like a parallel than a subset.

Also, what sort of a time is this when I man can't even make innuendo out of anything with but a wink? I don't want to live in a world where 'cathode ray tube' doesn't become a dirty word with only a sly wink!

Hence the difficulty with removing your mind from the gutter...

Methodologically speaking it's a science. Mathematicians explore the abstract world largely in the same way that other scientists explore the physical world. Same tools for a different problem.

You would be utterly correct in so saying, sir.

Is maths really a science? I mean science is concerned with finding patterns in the natural world with empirical evidence, while maths tends to work without any of that. It is more like a parallel than a subset.

You try one thing, you try another.  Eventually you find something pleasurable for everyone =)

Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to go study some mathematics... alone.  I have an examination of my prowess next week, and I must be well-prepared.
