This has been a magical night for me.

I've had the house all to myself since everybody's gone out to a brewery, which has left me alone, in a quiet house, with just the dogs, the wind, and Terry Pratchett's "I Shall Wear Midnight".

I can feel the worries of the world chasing behind me, but right now. I am at peace.
As I usually am when I finish a good book.

I'd say Str 13, Dex 11, Con 12, Int 13 (maybe 14), Wis 10, Cha 8. I don't think his Intelligence was any higher than as a physicist - beyond that, he's just got superhuman perception. Remember, D&D is stupid-overpowered, and according to the rules this puts him between IQ 130 to 140 (and, presumably, similar percentiles for whatever other measures you want to make of Int-related characteristics). I seriously think Veidt was better in every way but the divine ranks thing (straight 20s, level 5 or so Monk with the Educated feat).

You can explain a lot of ridiculousness when you can use Wish at will, for free.

EDIT: Wait, goddammit, you need Cha 29 to take Alter Reality. Dr Manhattan clearly does not have that, so some shenanigans are clearly required here. Hrrrmmm.....
