90's Are All That Friday voting chose an episode of Space Cases, and my brain's going nuts comparing the show with Firefly, Farscape, Lexx, and Stargate. Already got a decent list of similarities.

If anything, it shares more similarities with Farscape if anything, minus a few mind screw episodes and frelling alien expletives.

I mean, we already have a living ship, and they get lost in space through a wormhole; apparently, regardless of race, language is no barrier (assumed translator microbes). We also have little multi-purpose droids that wander the ship maintaining it, and doing research and stuff. All we're missing is a plant person that's also an empathetic healer.

Anyway, I've been reading the Spirit of the Century SRD, and, hopy shit, this game looks so awesome and fun! I'd really love to play it some day.

Also, I came across the phrase "Sky Hobo" (a name for an example character concept). If that's not a name for a forum game, I don't know what is.
