It's pretty easy to turn the Youtube notifications off, just fiddle with the setting on Youtube for a bit.

Checking out some Production Videos from the Hobbit movies, as the actors find their inner dwarves. The set bit with Gollum and Bilbo, and the dining room at Bag End are both looking cool, and it's fun to watch the actors interacting off-set. I'm really looking forward to this movie!

My back fixed itself yesterday for no obvious reason. I'd been limping around with massive lower back pain for over a week, and it was getting to the "crap, I really do need to see a doctor for this" stage, when I suddenly noticed last night that, hey...I can sit up and it doesn't cause me blinding pain! Or any pain, really. WTF?

Let's see...work email, I have 1067 unread messages out of 1322 total (in part because Outlook auto-preview lets me read stuff without it being "read"), not counting the umpteen folders I keep for various technical stuff.

Gmail, I have 600 unread out of 1051 total.

HP.com email, it's pretty much ALL unread because I never bother with it and it gets spammed hard by internal HP shit that I don't need to know about.
