Keep in mind the Inverse property of Value. As taste goes down the price exponentially lowers. And there is a minimum cap on taste with no such cap on value.

There is probably another fundamental law on how bad for you this all becomes but that is for another day. Cup of noodles will always hold their mystery.

We have instant noodles with five sachets; chilli sauce, soy sauce, seasoning oil, seasoning powder and fried onion, and it's pretty much the cheapest brand.

I suppose the tradeoff is that palm oil is the second ingredient on the list; they don't even bother saying 'vegetable oil' to hide it.

I love it.

This is called mi goreng, iirc, and it is the BEST NOODLE BRAND EVER.

Just watched Thor.   I'm sure folks will disagree and maybe it's a combination of factors including never having seen the comics, not having seen a recently released full length movie in a while, and knowing a smattering of viking mythology, but I thought it was actually kind of good.

Here's a hint,
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Now feel free to tell me about how horrible the movie is and how it raped the comics over [insert dead important guy in comic book history]'s grave.

Same here. I think Stan Lee actually has more say - or respect - in the new Marvel movies; even if not, I don't think he's very disappointed. Thor wasn't quite a deep comic, anyway. The main point, obviously, was to entertain people with a super-viking smashing things with a hammer.

That movie made me feel like an expert on Norse mythology. As long as you know a bit, the story is rather predictable. Especially if you know that

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

People are strange when you're a stranger, faces come out when you're alone...

This was my first exact thought as well.... but I couldn't find a way to make a joke out of it.

The sports are sucking less indeed. In fact, the NBA lockout brings the projected suck down to zero-ish, maybe a little higher if you consider colleges.
