I have decided every game I will ever play from this point on I will play in hard mode.

Put simply, outside of certain games that are designed to be cruel, the normal difficulty on most of today's games is just too EASY.
Try Terraria, er well I guess that one falls into the realm of cruel difficulty.

Sabrett or Boar's Head hotdogs boiled in sauerkraut and then grilled, with ketchup and dijon mustard, and the sauerkraut topping it too. :d

@Freeform:
Try playing IWBTG, and choose which degree of hard.

But yeah, these kids these days don't like games that are too hard, so they renamed normal 'impossible'.

Now that I come and think of it, I've had a rather easy time with Fallout3 on normal. Heck, dart gunning aside, as well as animal friend lvl1, hoarding is too easy (selling only weapons and armor, I've gotten all modifications to my house as well as a surplus of 500+ caps). Even mirelurks are fair game for me now. Deathclaws are simple hunts as well. Thank goodness for expansion packs. At least feral ghouls are fun to hunt.

Try Call of Duty. Nah, Just kidding. I would never recommend the dry cow known as CoD where the enemies dont even shoot back. I would seriously recommend way of the ninja. It is over the top cruel hard.

I've found that Deus Ex really makes Hardmode hard though. I picked it by mistake and boy was it a toughie.

BTW, Barett+Stealth Build+Hard Mode= One of the hardest boss battles I've ever had until I looked up the strategy for it. Grenades are your friend, gentlemen.

Boss battles in general in that game are retarded. Basic plan for a stealth/hacking/smarts character without many points in killing people is to:
1. Save
2. Enter the boss battle
3. Die horribly
4. Load, get the guns you now know you need to have, replay boss battle

I'd still recommend the hardest mode on Human Revolution. I mean, it's called Give Me Deus Ex.

That's a challenge. Don't let it win.

What does the IWBTG difficulty above hard do? I know normal instead of hard just gives you extra save points. Does it remove all saves?
I had difficulty with Fallout 3 because I made poor use of the game mechanics and didn't use any of the (many, many) exploits. Fallout NV, now... That game is way too easy. Someone needs to tell Bethesda & Friends to stop scaling as much. Any more, and their next game's levels 1-5 will be equivalent to slaughtering hordes of angry toddlers.

It's a bit cold inside my house now. But wearing jeans around is really fun, and I have a nice blanket to wrap around me. Things are good now.

Try Call of Duty. Nah, Just kidding. I would never recommend the dry cow known as CoD where the enemies dont even shoot back.
I found veteran mode to be a bit of a challenge. Perhaps more in tedium than anything else.

IWTBTG's "difficulty" levels just control the amount of fake difficulty by changing the number of save points. Pointless masochism is part of the game, of course, but I'd still play on normal :P

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Holy shit. I just found out my temp files total about 21.8 GB. Normally this would be a WTF thing, but I found a huge chunk of my hard drive that I can clear with little repercussion. Woo! Now I have ~30 free gigabytes to put more stuff in!

Election day in Denmark. So far the prognoses are suggesting a slim victory for the reds. Above average turnout for voting too, and we'll most likely beat last year's voting percentage of 86,6% by a few points.

Hopefully this will launch Denmark into an era of politics of more action and less talk. Not to mention that we'll be getting a red government. 8)

Yay for democracy! Yay for socialism!

EDIT: Oh, and I have started working out. In a couple of weeks to a few months I might no longer be the skinny kid I've always been. Time to put on some weight and become a real sexy beast. :P

Congratulations on the election win! Hopefully your social democrats are better than ours.

Thank you! I was waiting to update the thread with the final results,  but the ticker is stuck at 99,6% counted votes. They should be done in a couple of minutes.

None of the new Freshmen who joined anime club this year were the ones who were possessed by demons.

(No seriously, 50% of the incoming Freshmen scare me, a whole bunch of 'em got suspended last year, too..)

EDIT: Also, I got to shout out a quote from Gurren Lagann without being looked at like I was insane. :) Been a while since I could do that.

I'm finding most of the manga I like is completely nuts. And would likely disgust most people. First Franken Fran, now Mad Bull 34... What's next I wonder?
