Just looked at EMA payments and apparently I get a £100 bonus at the start of the year.
Le happiness abounds.

Got my timetable today.  It's strange how I have so many fewer lessons than last year.  So few that somehow I have ended up with no lessons at all on Wednesday.  I guess I'll just stay home then.

Came across this in the comments to a Nujabes track I was listening to on Youtube.

EDIT:
Finished listening to the promo album provided free by the artist. Good stuff.

High School or College?
Because around here it's normal to only have a 4 day week in college.

High school/ Sixth Form I guess.

Ironically the college/ university I'm considering applying to would have me on a 6 day week.

Saw the most well-dressed man (or indeed person) I've seen in a long while on the bus today. Tall black guy with a pinstripe waistcoat suit and flat cap, all in sea green, and a tan umbrella. I can't imagine where he was going in the late afternoon on a weekday in that kind of getup, but it was nice to see at least someone looking less homogenised than usual.

Ahh, from what I gather that's basically the same thing as the colge I'm at, we're doing equivalent to A levels here.

Henceforth, he shall be named "Horatio G. Pipplethwaite".

Forsooth, such a name is most befitting of one so dapper.

Don't forget the absolutely stellar soundtrack. It is so good.

Also, if you have all weapons on level 5 (unlikely on the first playthrough, easy in New Game+), you get so incredibly powerful. Especially the Army Carbine. There is really no reason NOT to pick the two "-50% aim time" upgrades. The security cannons all go down in 1-2 shots and the very common enemies in the last chapters (don't wanna spoil anything) all go down in 2 hits. Except for that one guy who is ridiculously durable.
Talking about gods, oh boy, the idols really make the game difficult. Especially since the "No potion drops from enemies" also applies to Who Knows Where, so say goodbye to the potions falling from the sky in between the waves.

Both speed upgrades on the carbine makes it work too fast to do power shots, at least in my opinion.
