It's like Greed from FMA. Everything in the world belongs to him; money, people, power. And he's making sure his stuff is good enough for him. Google is apparently working on their own OS and fiber optic network through America and possibly space programs. Meanwhile it's made out of undying energy of stolen souls of countless innocent people of a slain nation. But goddam if he isn't charismatic as all fucks.

It's been a long time since I've read something I wasn't required to read.

Sure, it's a 40k book (Specifically, the first of the Gaunt's Ghosts books) but it's pretty good and it's not gun-wank like I expected.

Got my timetable for college, and it's pretty damn nice.
Tuesdays off and half days on Wednesday and Friday.

Head pain mellowed out. It still hurts, just not too much.

My favorite thing about college is the half-days and the days off. Fridays and weekends off? Yes please. Three-day weekends just feel right.

Saturday classes suck balls though. As soon as you sign up for one everyone wants to do stuff with you on that day.

Chromium OS is just Chrome browser and some way to make it work without an actual OS.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Ahh, finally got the new avatar finished. The upper left corner is going to bug me forever, but I can't get the edges to work without fucking up a lot of work I already did. Le sigh. Maybe I'll redo it later, I've still got it broken up into enough separate layers that I can replace that without mucking up anything else. Also, I got too ambitious and it's too large for the forums. Still. It's nice to have it done, it was bugging me for like the last 12 hours. Even if it makes no sense.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Dog, and cat, are playing with each other. It's adorable. They're currently playing under my chair.
It has a cover that extends over the legs and down to the floor, so they kind of lift it up and hide under it... At this point in time they're both hiding in the cavity under my chair, my dogs wagging tail is beating against the cover and hitting my leg...
This is adorable.
