Progress in Terraria has been slow, but steady.  And Fun.

Fire imps, WHY FIRE IMPS D:  Besides those and the giant skeleton snakes, I'm probably going to avoid Underworld for a while.  That's ok though, just digging down to the surface of it is difficult enough.  I've had a couple showdowns with the Eye of Cthulu too.  Nearly killed it on the last try, but I got nervous and got sloppy.  Next time will be a different story, I'm sure.  I picked up four Life Crystals on my way to the Underworld, so hopefully that will give me the edge I need.  That, and the various accessories I picked up, things should be easier this time around.

This guy is pretty damned impressive, and I admire his will and spirit. Be warned, it may be a bit of a medical eww for you, but I found it both fascinating and inspiring. His eyepatch is pretty sweet too.

Anyway, feeling hopeful again. I'm not through the woods yet, am struggling with debt, and still have to sort out this month... but I can see the light at the end. Just a bit farther, and things will get back on track.

So I was on the SPace Marine website lamenting the poor quality of the Steam preorder bonus (You get the Blood Ravens chapter pack for multiplayer.  Best Buy Preoders get fucking Iron Warriors and Emperor's Children.  That's bullshit), when I noticed there was an ad for OnLive, that pie in the sky thing that everyone was buzzing about a while ago.

It fucking works.  I signed up, started a free trial of Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, and ten seconds later I was playing the game.  No download.  Nothing.  The graphics are a little worse than they could be but hey, the future is motherfucking now.  8.99 a month for downloadless gametap.  What the fuck is next, uploading your consciousness into the game itself?

Steam will always be my best bro though.  Far Cry Complete 75% off means that's two more pirated games off my conscience.
