I'm in the second week; today was my fourth day of lectures.

Chatted with the psychiatrist today - busy man. Utterly booked for 2-3 months at a time even with good insurance. I noticed since the last time I visited, he has put up a signed photo of George Lucas' on the wall that read, "May the Force be with you, [redacted]" next to his awards and various degrees. He's a really swell fellow.

It was a pleasant discussion and I was able to see what he and the therapist marked down on my file:

"HYPOGLYCEMIA
BIPOLAR 1: RAPID CYCLING
POST TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER
NIGHTMARE DISORDER"

It was strangely theraputic to see it all written on my file, some sort of vindication for the years of wondering what the hell was wrong with me and why I didn't function/operate like most human beings.

I'm now contemplating "outing" my disorders on facebook and google+. Most of my close friends know already - but I'm steeling myself for the flood of "I never would have guessed!/people treating me differently/but you don't act 'crazy'" from the preconceived notions of "that strange, quirky, cool guy" I'm apparently supposed to be maintaining with hundreds of aquaintances.

Chill and happiness - I have been all of the thai concept of "jai yen - cool heart" since the last depressive stage. It feels lovely to just be.

Getting giddy from tiredness. Long day at school, come home, rest, going to go to bed soon, but-whats this?! My xbox sits next to my tv, a few games stacked on top of it. It seems to be glaring at me, a hypnotizing stare. . . . .welp, I SUPPOSE one campaign on left 4 dead couldont hurt. . .

I bid you all welcome, down in the original resting spot of my computer with its own functional OS, wireless dongle and Service Pack 1(Don't worry I have Avast running at 100%).

Time to start the real challenge of returning to normal on the software side.

Got 100%'s on my homework for the next week. The freshmen teacher next door was gone when a fire drill happened, and I led them out.

My classes don't start for another eight days.

On the subject of fire drills, my last day of middle school there was a real fire.  The gym teacher's desk fan had a bad cord and caught some papers on fire, nothing big.  WE still spent the last two hours of school outside.  Kickass.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I have not read that webcomic in ages. So many web comics I need to catch up on.

Personally, I'd say don't do it.  From what I've seen, people aren't forgiving when it comes to any disorder, they suddenly assume you must be INSANE and require heavy medication to function at all.  And treat you as such.
