It's election time in Denmark. Finally, we can install a more left-wing government. Victory to the reds!

Request: Short report on the major political parties involved
Optional: Polling data

I'll try and see what I can do later today once I get back from uni.

Just a short story about the political struggle is fine, thank you :P

Very shortly I'd put it as such: Liberals controlled by racists vs Socialists controlled by Liberals :/ Unless we're really lucky and get a completely red victory, but as it is it seems we'll need Radikale Venstre to make a majority government.

Listening to ambient tunes by Aphex Twin whilst finishing off some pixel work. Looks like I found some creativity.

I found another file that is missing parts of text due to me turning my PC off without saving. It'll only take about 5, possibly 8, minutes to write everything down again.

I'm sure Norwegians have found that funny, but I actually can't spot the joke, but a lot of the sketches they do are not rooted in reality so I guess that's why I don't think they're funny :/ Come on, Denmark is full of real fail to make fun of.

For those conversant in the Periodic Table of the Elements (or those who can get one on-hand), this comic made me snicker.
Vector reads SMBC!
Here's two of my favourites.

Also this because it's so true for me.

In other news I got a good night's sleep, and after yelling at my cat for scratching the back of a chair she rolled playfully onto her back, looked at me upside down, slipped off the chair... it was adorable.

Wasn't much of a joke in the one I posted, but it was thematically relevant :)

We have local elections this year, first one since I moved to this city, so I have no idea who the candidates are or even what issues they like to worry about in public. Can't even think of any issues that bother me much. Daycare prices? Nah. Retirement homes? Not yet. Roads and transportation? Maybe, but none of them have any good solutions anyway.

Also church parish and bishopric council elections. I'm only a member of the church so I can sabotage these. So few bother to vote in them that you get noticeable influence on the result, and I always pick the candidates with extremely liberal positions or otherwise likely to throw wrenches into the cogs. The little old ladies looked stunned when I delivered my ballot last time, they're not used to anyone under the age of 70 showing up.

More fun practise on instruments. Need to self teach-get lessons for keyboards so I can justify getting one that isn't a £90 yamaha from 1996.

Toady wiped out a spambot but left part of the post there so that mine below it would make sense. It's a little thing, but I am very happily surprised that he was so considerate in doing that.

Thanks, Toady, you continue to amaze me.

Listening to goreshit's new lorazepam resonance album~
So far, not as sad as most of the others, still a bit more sad than overspecialized, but holy shit, dubstep~
All around just an awesome album~
