Something dawned on me.

All the conspiracy theorists? It's a government conspiracy to make people mentally associate "conspiracy" with "crazy people", and, in doing so, actually make people less likely to catch on.

I have found the best word, and enshrined it appropriately.

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

You just now figured that out?  Slowpoke, it's been working its magic on you this whole time.  Where do you think they get all that tinfoil anyway?

Conspiracy theorists do just fine convincing everyone they're crazy without any help from the government.

No, the conspiracy theorists are actually government agents hired to seem crazy.

As for the tinfoil hats, it's obvious that tinfoil hats is a conspiracy because the government mind rays are obviously only blocked by the much more available, and thus less obvious, aluminum foil.

Uh, guys... Just so you know, the 'conspiracy theorists are government stooges' is actually an extraordinarily popular sentiment among actual conspiracy theorists. Especially in cases in which your conspiracy theory of choice is relatively close to the other one. For example, some UFO conspiracy theorists think the reptoids conspiracy theorists exist as goverment stooges to make all alien conspiracy theorists look nutters.

Clearly, alway is a government stooge meant to lead astray from the metaconspiracy theory.

If you do find conspiracy theories interesting, I suggest this site: The Conspiracy Skeptic Podcast
It's got episodes about every conspiracy theory you can think of; Giorgio's ancient aliens, elder protocols of zion, reptoids, the satanic panic of the '80s, and even the homosexual agenda.

Just spent an hour on youtube watching russians dance. No idea why, no regrets either, and my ankles feel sympathy pains.

I spent ~10 days in Portland with very little to do for several hours each day. Using a box fan, a fog machine, a dynamometer, and some graphs, I found out that the people advocating leg-shaving for runners weren't entirely insane. I figure you have to try everything at least once, so if the difference between sasquatch legs and shaved legs was great enough, I'd change my stance on the matter. Apparently the resistance incurred by my legs with an inch of hair on them was fully 20% greater than the same leg without hair.

Upsides: I immediately ran a mile and got a personal record by several seconds, and was overall less tired at the end due to decreased energy output for the same motion.

Downsides: AUGH THINGS ARE TOUCHING MY SKIN. Blankets, wind, et cetera. Also I accidentally peeled off a small section of my epidermis, causing a worrying amount of bleeding from my mesoderm. To those of you who regularly shave your not-faces, you are masochists.
I shave my armpits regularly because the hair traps bacteria, hence BO. Tired of being smelly? Kill it with blades.
Swimming. No hair. None. If you had unfortunate enough genetics to get hairy feet, you had to shave your feet.
I do have mildly hairy feet, but with the weirdness of shaved legs already, there's no way in hell I'd be able to stand wearing socks without my hair.

I've good news! Despite my bad eyesight I'm still a good rifleman (at least with my weapon of choice) :D.

I went to the firing range for the first time in the last few years today, I can't remember the last time I went. After I got used to the M14's iron sights and figured out where it was shooting I was able to hit these targets (was sitting down, using my bladder canteen to rest my elbow on): Three water bottles  I set up at 50 yards, three out of four shots. Metal pig silhouette at 100 yards, ten out of ten shots. Metal turkey silhouette at 150 yards, six out of six shots. Thats 19 hits out of a 20 round magazine. Not bad for a guy who couldn't pass an eye test (damn nearsightedness) for driving eh? Ha, I'm ecstatic, the thought of me losing my marksmanship skill due to bad eyesight made me even more depressed back when I was in my depression. It turns out I had no reason to worry. I wish I could have shot it more but my main reason for going was to train my brother in proper gun safety and use. We went through all the weapons we brought at a reasonable rate and we still ran late :(. We had one hell of a time though :).

Hmm, going to have to start practicing again.

My friend and I just had the brilliant idea of Terraria basketball with dirt rods. It's probably been done before but it still sounds like fun.

Damn you valve, why do you have to make the intros to the left 4 dead games so damn awsome? Every time I start the game, I sit through the intro. It never gets old, I swear.
