To understand recursion, you must first understand recursion. :P

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Several years ago, I used to hang out in a youth organization whose meetings were typically opned by a question everyone answered in sequence. The questions were typically like "What animal do you feel like" and "If you were a meal, what kind of meal would you be" and so on... one time, when no one had came up with a question I suggested the following: Which question would you ask? and it was taken. Guess what was my answer and how many confused looks that yielded...

First answer coming to my mind is "This one."

To be honest, my answer should've been expected - after all, my suggestion was accepted, so it was evident which question I would ask because it was my question that was being answered?

So, the question I would've asked was "What question would you ask?"

To which one of the other guys said: "...and your answer would be?"
- What question would you ask?

I did know what recursion meant, back then, but had fairly little in-depth knowledge on the subject. I did find joking with it worth a chuckle though!

Fake edit: I've been presenting tautology as a real and applicable branch of logic to a few of my friends. Whenever someone's pondering over something, I explain that it can be explained by tautology and usually continue to present such explanations in lieu of better ones. That's another thing that's worth a chuckle!

Well, I've reached a new low in humor. I'm pretty sure finding this rock's shape funny makes me a terrible person. Or possibly just 12.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Tell me about it, whenever I hear Muse's Citizen Erased I get all nostalgic about playing MMOs with my old school friends.
I get to see Muse again this weekend alongside these great acts. :D

I bought my mum to finally get a CPAP machine. Hopefully now she can get a decent nights rest.
When I saw muse they kept calling Oakland, San Fransico, and the crowd was raging, pretty funny.

Yeah, and it sucks.  I can identify the comic just by averting my gaze at it now at least.

On the contrary! They sacrificed themselves to make this a reality, and you wish to bury their memory instead of show their work to the world? It is you with the psychopathic tenancies!

Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.
