Freud can go eat himself. I don't know how, but he can go do it.

Even though he's dead.

As for happeh, reading some fiction my friend wrote. Pretty good, but a bit heavy on the purple prose.

Vector, I forget, do you specialize in any particular field of math?

Nah.  I'm just an undergrad.

Playing more Cataclysm. A trip to the hardware store across town to simply pick up a hack saw went so horribly wrong and yet so horribly right. In the end I had used over 1000 xp simply on melee skills, going from 0 in melee, cutting, and piercing to 4, and from 2 to 4 in dodging. Sooo many zombies pouring through the windows in waves of up to 2 dozen each. Killed around 50 zombies in total w/o any medical supplies and under heavy pain much of the time. And as it is day 2, I think this may be my longest lived character yet.

Saw the new movie "Cowboys and Aliens," it was pretty decent. The plot was as silly as the title implies, with pretty massive plot holes, but the production value was pretty good. Overall it's pretty much what you would expect from the vibes given off by the title.

Just failed the Ho-ing minigame in Saints Row 2. I have never laughed so hard in my life.

I love that game. My favorite one is the escort minigame, especially when you realize that two people are banging each other while you're shooting at the paparazzi with automatic rifles and RPGs.

You should try the flash minigame.

I can't wait for the coming Autumn; it's been far too muggy here lately. We've had some impressive late-summer thunderstorms though, and after setting the intention to do it about a year ago, I made sure to walk around barefoot through the muddy grass during the last big one. The air and rain was warm, while the ground was cool and soft... it was nice. :3

There was another storm a few weeks back, with crazy winds and golfball-sized hail. I ran around in it briefly, and saved some hail samples in the freezer for SCIENCE. Don't know what to do with them yet, but maybe there's a way to learn something about the weather behind the storm based on the size or apparent layers? I'm not sure what, but I want to do something with them.

What is it about autumn that makes my thoughts turn to love?  The coming school year?  What?

Something about the season's change, from Summer to Fall, has been making me feel both nostalgic and inspired. I've been listening to the Princess Mononoke soundtrack all day, reflecting on the life I've lived so far, and on ahead to the man I want to be. I've stumbled before, and there seem to be some trials ahead on the path I've chosen, but I'm confident that I have the strength and knowledge to get through them, and on toward my goals. For once in my life, I can confidently say that I'm going to finish what I've set out to do, and not carry a seed of self-doubt when I say it.

I think the next year is going to be a big year for me. I'm looking forward to it.

Okay, I snerked at at that.

Still, I can give you my wholehearted assurance that, though a close friend whom I love (despite his unique brand of asinine dickery), I am not attracted to him at all. I have no problem admitting potential attraction to guys, but that has never even been a thing.

Being in a position where we don't have to wonder whether we can afford more than 2 meals this week makes me happy.
