So apparently no amount of planning will save you when the writers decided that a CR 7 monster can make you make a Fortitude save or take 22d6 points of damage, and then you roll a 5. And then you decide to use your daily reroll to try again, and roll a 1. GODDAMN IT DICE. I NEEDED A 7. THAT WAS ALL. YOU UNGRATEFUL BASTARDS.

Fun times, though.
