I have to admit, I don't actually care about the politics. I'm too young to vote yet, so doesn't really bother me because I can't change anything. But this is something that everyone does in our political system, it seems. Don't bother running political ads on policies. Cheaper, easier, and apparently more effective to just run fear and hate campaigns.

Didn't occur in this thread, but I just want to say that I greatly prefer the new way of Toady not deleting posts, and just putting "(content removed)". I never doubted that there were reasons, but this system will make it much easier to see that changes have occurred, and where they happened.

I believe Immortal was prominent there as well. I think it's that they have a slightly out-of-era look to them. They look more like they'd be at home in the 1970's.
I heard they still use black metal makeup and clothes, because they secretly find it funny.
Pretty much. As far as I know they're ever-so-slightly tongue-in-cheek about it (so are a lot of other bands who wear corpsepaint.)

I don't know what was the most funny though, the guy who made the post thinking he's cultured and smart because he mocks the bands, or the hilarious pictures, hmmm.. Tough choice.

oh look at me look I'm mocking some heavy metal bands guess I must be cultured dohoho. I know too many people like this, and it's not fun, really. Especially the ones who are like "You seriously still listen to metal? Surely you should have grown out of it by now." Rage.

Wait why am I posting this in a happy thread?

Ontopic - I get my Talk Talk CDs tomorrow (thereby disproving the (again dumb) notion that metalheads only listen to metal because I am soon going to be enjoying some synth-driven 80's sophisti-pop

A lot of people are getting arrested for corruption these days in Belgium... that make me happy.
Now I have to find why and who initiated this cleaning so I can thank/help it if possible.

Also, I guess I should change my location in my profile next Tuesday. Eheheh.
