Went to register at the university today. No problems at all.

Arranged to meet a friend, from my close circle, there. Was kind of nervous, because I haven't socialised for one year.
Was a bit awkward at the beginning, but I managed to go back to my former self pretty soon.

Went to the St. Stephen's Cathedral, since his father works there. We were able to see some of the chambers inacessible to most of the visitors.
Beautiful Latin inscriptions.

Parted later after we visited Starbucks, where we had ordered a Java cofee (there was no way around, we learned Java for 4 years at school).
Pretty sure that made up for my diet >.>

Neat day.

Just saw the Rocky Horror Picture Show. What.

I love Rocky Horror.  I get incredibly depressed when I think about how old Tim Curry is now.  The planet will lose half its charisma score when he passes.

Doing a pacifist run of Iji.  My violent run was unsatisfying.  Apparently "Iji humors General Tor until he says that if the planet dies it'll be a testament to her foolishness.  Then she tells him to fuck off, it's his and the tasen's fault, kills him, stows away on a komato ship, and continues killing komato till the end of her days" isn't one of the possible endings.  It should be.  Parents would tell their children not to be bad or the Human Anomaly would get them.

They'd be wrong though, because she'd kill the good ones too.

I wish game companies would listen to this.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

I think everyone in Portugal is as crazy as my dad. My aunt is all bubbly and gushy when she's around us and very pushy when trying to feed us. She will stop on a highway to point out a sign of some attraction while cars speed past at 70 kph and rocket Down narrow steep winding cobblestone side streets that make up every side street. The rest of the family is like this, presumably so is the rest of the country.

In Switzerland there was this odd familiarity to the place. I think it was all being with my brother and his wife, depending on them to make our way around and enjoying each others company in this strange different place that was confusing in how similar it was to home. Here I don't have that, simply extended family. Have never met before and a sister as clueless as I am. Yet there is a similar familiarity here. I think I can see why my dad acts the way he does here. Through everything I can see who he is, as if he is here telling us his past.

My brother who visited this place years ago said he might come over in a week, so there is hope in a week of having another home away from home for a week.

I'm gonna be getting a raise in a couple of weeks.  This is above and beyond the raise I got in January during the normal performance review process.  My alleged hard work is paying off.

Brohams, why don't you just play the stock market? The VSE game is a clear testament to your skill at it. :P

Oh gog, my family is gonna be crazy.  I won't even know like three quarters of the people there I bet.  I wonder how many aunts, uncles, and cousins I will see this weekend in Maine.

Until ice is either metaphorically or literally broken depending on what crazy shenanigans happen in Maine, it will be a crowd of awkward glances that seems to know itself well but you are clueless about. Don't worry about it bro, at worst you will be seen as a kinda silent guy. Hopefully there will be a way to escape for a little bit instead of wasting time in some chair in a room of unknowns.

No that's okay.  I'm already seen as quiet anyway, it would actually be pretty amazing if I did something outlandish while I'm there.  People speak for me all the time as well, just giving a name and handshake seems to work and then people are suddenly comfortably around me and speak to me like they've known me for years.

Apparently you can't get a truly pacifist run unless you get all the ribbons.  I missed one, even though I know where all of them are one slipped my mind.  Now if I want to do it right I'll have start the whole game over and I'm at the second to last level.  Fucking fuck, that's stupid.  I don't even want to finish now.
