Just sold my half-broken PS3 which I've been trying to get rid of for at least half a year and I'm reasonably happy with the deal I got. Overall I still got screwed on the whole thing, but I'm just relieved to be rid of it and getting something useful in return.

Age of Conan's free to play now, but I can't tell yet whether or not the f2p implementation was shitty.  It looks shitty.  We'll see.

AoC wasn't bad, it was just that I wasn't ever going to spend money on it.  I hope barbarians are free-playable, Barbarians were lots of fun.  I ganked the shit out of everyone, and they raged.  One mage told me to stop using stealth.  I told him to stop using spells.

Then I kicked his ass a few times, smashed his head with my sledgehammer, and ran him out of the dungeon.

EDIT:  Oh awesome, it's free to play, plus premium monthly subscription (15 bucks), plus item shop, plus expansion packs.  I almost don't want to play now, this implementation is almost as shitty as everything else they've done with Age of Conan.

That is indeed true last I checked. But you get the equivalent albeit with higher latency simply using the normal internet method. So it would be a lan-less lan party. :)
Yeah, they weren't really playing "lan", but rather they all had SC2 and were having a lan party there.

Also, I finally got the dog to do a little playing.  She seems excitable enough but she ain't got no toys.  Her owner hasn't brought any of the stuff she brought, I'm starting to think my dad was right that she never intended to take her back.  :/

We played tug of war with a sock but she got way too into it and hurt herself.  She's limping but I can squeeze the leg and move it around so I don't think it's anything serious, probably just scared her.  I need to teach her some commands.  Ruby (That Boston terrier I talk about) died because I never got around to teaching her to stop or heel.

Guild group FINALLY managed to down Nefarion.  Not a huge thing, especially after the big nerf and firelands came out.  But it is nice to actually make some progress in that game for the first time since the guild leader figured we could handle firelands in our 359 gear..
