Re:Planescape Torment. I bought that a little while ago and enjoyed getting out of the mortuary and a little of the city. I got really paranoid that I'd mess something up, stopped playing, and haven't been back since. I really ought to go back to it as the setting really intrigued me.

A good friend recently gave me a small plastic mech. It's the one from the end of the first Ghost in the Shell film. He's the guy who introduced me to GitS. This makes me happy all round.

Yeah!  I saw your post in the rage thread, and I was thinking "Oh, that's an egg-thing that I really like!  Let's do that!"

My mom used to make me one of these every year, for my birthday.  It's probably my absolutely favorite kind of pastry, period, and I can't believe I forgot about it until now.

In vastly more serious happy, I talked to my dad on the phone after he drove home, and he was fine.  When he left, three minutes later with no need to hold a conversation, my body suddenly realized how drunk it was, and I knew he couldn't be much better.  Like always, I was worried that this would finally be the time that he gets pulled over, especially after all the other crazy shit that's happened this week, because that's how things work.  Once again, worry proven unfounded.
