I feel I've hard a fairly difficult day today, but I don't seem to feel very bad about much of it.
Then again, in this heat, I may have suffered brain damage in the part that processes displeasure.

I feel better looking at that.

Maybe I am missing something but that isn't particularly funny or insightful to me.

Panel 2 is the only really good one.

*shrug*

Guess you don't need it, then.  Glad other people could enjoy it.

Stuck in line, listening to Thomas Dolby's 'She blinded me with SCIENCE" from the 80s being blared over the speakers.

I'm pretty much cracking up and dancing and everyone is giving me weirded out looks.

Found a couple job offers that basically amount to sterilizing surgical instruments. I have boatloads of lab experience. C'moooooon, let it work. I have hope for once!

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

This is a comic which entertained me

The first three panels are great, especially for the illustrations.  The rest are more just trite and overly-harped than disagreeable.  Nice though, because I had no idea what that webcomic was called so I could never find it.

They were the weird ones for not dancing.  If you can't get a crowd of random people to go SCIENCE! as a song cue, there's something wrong with those people.

A incident that just happened during my walk made me happy.

I was just walking down the street when I spotted a white cat lying on the edge of the street staring a field next to it. I almost didn't notice it, because it was dark. It did not run away, even though I walked past it very close. Then I stopped and just walked to pet it. It rubbed it's head to my feet. Then I continued my walk and it too walked away.

*sob* I'll never kill a cat in DF again.

Several things happied me today. First, learning what exactly TREE(3) is. Mind=Blown so hard it unblew, if that makes any sense.

Second, on vacation, and went to Mackinac Island. For the unfamiliar, cars and other motor vehicles are banned on the island. So I biked Michigan Highway 185, looked at the old fort, watched a cannon firing demonstration (No actual cannonballs were used), and saw a great view from Arch Rock, and had a nice time. And then got a pound of fudge. Glorious, glorious fudge.

I have no idea where the fuck I am, but I just ate some pretty tasty curried shrimp at a Chinese place.

I'm in Arkansas, apparently.

How the devil did this happen without your knowledge?
