Woohoo! Covert Action! I use to live on that game way back when. I've always meant to give that another go one day, but there' too much else to do. I've only ever finished it on easy level. Might have to start up a harder level game, but the difficulty ramps up real quick and I got nowhere on even second-easiest-level.

It's like Carmen Sandiego on Steroids. With guns, car chases and hacking. LCS could take some tips from that.

It's like Carmen Sandiego on Steroids. With guns, car chases and hacking. LCS could take some tips from that.

I just wish there was more variability to it, more different stuff to occur.  After a while the gameplay gets really samey, but it's just so fun anyway.  I love the big-picture of the game, especially when you turn a couple agents and can just sit back, watch the plot unfold for a few days, then saunter in and nab everybody.  It's an amazingly gratifying game for being so simple.

Computer is now working well.  It seems the issue was my graphics driver, I might have upgraded to the wrong kind, which didn't like Aero on my Windows 7 64 bit machine of the future.
