Nah, the first even remotely shooty thing I've ever played was MGS, at the beginning of the summer.  Well, that and Bioshock, but I pretty much exclusively used the wrench, so I'm not counting it.

It's not that much of an issue there.
There are classes which don't rely on twitch reflexes that much.
Engineer relies on clever bulding placing and some team help and the medic should be around teammates anyway. The other classes each have their own mechanics, which you'll have fun figuring out.
Not to mention that the melee weapons in that game do great damage and aren't the last resort like in many other FPS games.

Getting the first 19 books of Fruits Basket for free, from Thyme's little sister.

Pretty much $190, because they bought it all new.  Now there's only 4 books missing, which I should be able to pick up pretty easily.

Pity it's in English, because I try to mostly read this stuff in Japanese nowadays, but... but I'm so happy...

Fruit Basket is all over AnimeNewsNetwork right now, although I don't see the draw to shoujo romance stuff.  I'd rather have a real heavy dramatic seinen psychological/mystery series.  I lose interest otherwise, heh.

Nah, I'm not sure you'll like it.  Especially the anime, which is made of ass.

But let it be known that I hate stories that are just about romance, so I liked it as a psychological exploration more than anything--which is really what shoujo usually is, at its best.  It's not super-dramatic and it doesn't have a big world-spanning plot.  It's just a little story about trying to grow up and create a world outside yourself.
