Well, it was a nice compliment to me coming from a woman who is an artist-who-lives-in-a-70s-style-hippie-commune-in-Oakland, who would not normally have anything to do with department stores.

Kael, I just realized that your avatar is a guy playing with fire, and not a dwarf with a white beard...

I would also imagine fire preforming is a hobby involving the stink of sweat and fuel, so not having that is an impressive thing. Depending on the situation the hug was given in I guess. Physical contact with people you are friends with that are not at the family level of hugging all the time or are known to hug people is also doubly nice. Social ++ and all that.

Wow how come I've never checked out Lupin III before?!  I hear it mentioned all the time but finally seeing the opening I can see what the fuss is all about.  Talk about a 70's opening.

Cool more Adventures for Arsene Lupin? I only knew about the "Castle of Cagliostro" until now, thanks. Certainly looks similar in style. I'm going to research when exactly this came out (hmm is almost 10 years older)

Right now I'm watching another 70's series "Space Battleship Yamato" they just left the solar system ...

Soooo apparently I only need to pass another economics exam and then I'm done with high school! :D

Unfortunately that also happens to be my worst subject by far.

 Ahahahaha oh man

So my dad is sanding the living room floor to apply some new wax when we find some of the wood strips didn't sand the same. Several sections of the floor are not wood, just strips of linoleum stacked on top of eachother replacing the slats. This house is a lot more patchwork than I thought.

Very fucked up dreams last night, can't really put them into words, just vaguely remembered images, I think they were gamish based but not like any game I've played before.

Trying to brute force my sleep schedual back to normal despite Solifuge keeping me up at night. I will become diurnal again.

So having been awake for almost 24 hours now, and going to have been awake for almost 36 hours by the time I go to sleep, this is getting interesting. Also, I think some of my synapses may have become very confused over the last day, and there are bizzare optical hallucinations off to either side of my laptop.

Must stay awake....

Instead of being unconscious for two or three days, my dad is doing so well after his heart transplant that he's already responding to small commands, breathing on his own, and by Saturday he'll likely be upright again.  :)
