Aye, that. He's been on and off the list for about 5 years now, his most recent time on the list being about a year since he got a Left Ventricle Assist Device (LVAD) and became battery-powered. Luckily the hospital in the only major city anywhere in the vicinity happens to be one of the best in the world for cardiac surgery.

Speaking of Roller Coaster Tycoon does anyone know of a freeware or more modern version of the game?

Yes, actually, there's a roller coaster tycoon 3. uit's 3d, so you cn see what it looks like to actually ride the rides.

I should mention: 3 is a lot of fun with tons of amazing features (ride cam, amazing fireworks, et cetera), but it just doesn't feel as well done as the first one.

Fuck it, I need somewhere to post to moan about my German homework, because bellyaching to my mom is Just Not Working Anymore.

Three weeks and they have us on page-long essays.  Three weeks and I'm writing stories with lesbian overtones because I haven't actually had any visitors for a year and a half, and I don't have any friends to talk about.

I'm currently wondering if the (male) grader will ever catch on  ::)  In any case, at least I'm having fun with it.

Dunno why (Okay, I totally do, but whatever) but males are generally a lot more receptive to a girl being a lesbian than a guy being gay. He probably won't comment.

Meh.  The least I can do is troll my graders.  Yeah, he's a guy, but by "lesbian overtones" I mostly mean that I'm meeting this girl-who-doesn't exist, commenting a bit too much on how pretty she is, and then going off to eat princess cake and get lost in the snow with her.  Amongst dead rosebushes.

And then it cuts to morning, and she's leaving on the train.

It's here because it is the thing that makes me happiest about this class.

I miss making fun of my teachers in my texts, while getting good grades for them.

Said to another player in a recent P&P RPG:
Quote
You can't always be the jack of all trades just because you're high!
Said P&P session had a situation that called for a magic user, and after watching the party fail constantly at finding one, I decided to help the players out a bit and have an NPC show up in a cloud of smoke to cast the spell and disappear. Of course, someone had to ruin it by calling him Dumbledore every five seconds.

In other news, my new computer arrived today, so hopefully I can get back to the important buisiness, like RTDASIS.

Make sure there's always a psysical and magical solution to everything. A Enchantment can be broken with sufficient force, or maybe a door can be broken using only a certain amount of electricity, which a intrepid explorer would take to mean "Find copper, zinc, and a potato."

I'm feeling sad because I have wasted half of my time away from school. And I am likely to waste a good portion of the rest when I could be working on some kind of novel project.
^ A minute after I made this post, I got my transcripts from school. I didn't get below 91% in any of my classes for the first term. I, like, I have no idea how to express this kind of feeling besides posting here.
