So, despite being kinda tired and spaced out. I think today was good besides the 2mm or so kidney stone I passed. I'm finding The X Encyclopedia to be a really nice little thing to read and relax with too. It's rather well thought out and making me into even more of a fan of the game and it's universe.

Janet, I started playing X3:TC -Xtended mod today. I was plopped down and just stared like - where the hell was I???

Then a Teladi fleet flew into the Paranid sector and everything started exploding. That's what I remember about X3.

I just found a video from an old forum I used to go to. I thought I'd never find it again! It's a mod basically deleting everything on a forum and banning everyone, including the admin. Finding it made me very happy today.

I'm not sure how an admin could be so stupid as to leave themselves and their moderators open to being banned.

So....could you tell us the story behind the demise of the Free Games Forum?

It's actually still going strong, and tazG, the guy who did it, is actually still a moderator. The admin of the forum has absolutely no cares in the entire world about how fucked up the forum is. I saw him intervene ONCE, and only after the Mod Controller made a new subforum called "Helm's Deep" for dicking around that started posting porn. Today, the forum is BURIED UP TO THEIR TITS in adbots, and the Helm's Deep, a place only viewable to people with an account, is basically the only place not filled with them, and it's filled with... uncultured folk.

It used to be an actually pretty intelligent and funny place to be, now it's mostly filled with trolls. "You're gay" insinuations abound within it's walls.

It sent up two popups right after the page finished loading, and I lightning clicked the close page button instead of waiting for more things to happen.
