Estonian is same family as Finnish.
I like Estonia.
Apparently, they wanted to change the internationally recognised name to Estland.
Dunno what came of that, though.
Estonia is a completely different world than Lithuania and Latvia. Doesn't really matter, we're going bankrupt soon and there are a few countries that want our lands. South is probably going to belong to Poland ("Wilno nasze" and all that shit), east is going to belong to Russia (USSR and all that shit) and the North is going to belong to Sweden (no idea why, but it's a known fact that they want our lands).

Edit: And oddly, no one really wants Latvia. Maybe Russia?

The Australian language is basically made up, on the spot, as we go, and it works.
Right on ya, pommy English's a loada fuckin' crock. Real fuckin' blokes doon't yabber like cunty whingebags.

All I learned from my Aussie friend was obtuse slang. :P and to drop 'fuck' into every other phrase.
Your friend was from central aus. Nobody says crock anymore!  :P

Ugh, that sounds... difficult, to say the least.  Er, how do you feel about the potential partition, if you don't mind my asking?

How I feel?
Lucky cousin gets to live in Sweden's part. I live in Poland's #1 favorite Lithuanian city. I don't really care about the patriotic crap. I'm not really pure Lithuanian. I'm Lithuanian-Russian-Polish-Hungarian-Prussian. Plus, I believe everything should be judged by actions. Lithuania did nothing to get my respect. Used to be a good country, but now? Not so much. Plus I posted immigration statistics some time ago. They all have good reasons to leave.

Edit: Tl;dr - I just want some other country to take over, the sooner the better.

Huh, I see.  That's really interesting, and thanks for sharing.

Oh, so he swears, and it a bad driver...
We tried to talk to him about his swearing, this was the result:

"Hey man, maybe you shouldn't swear so much, there's little kids here."

"awwww look at the lil fuckin' ace ankle biters. Fuck yea, I'll stop fuckin' aroond em" *inhales half his handrolled cigarette*

"This is hopeless."

Yes, they can be like that sometimes. They mean well, but fail to understand why such language might not be appropriate. The correct response is 'Mate, not cool' if you want them to stop. The effect is similar to applying a shock collar to dogs.

Whenever our group of friends sees him we all just yell out, "Fuck yeah!" now, and he just grins and responds "fuck yea!".

Just gave up.

But yes- I love Aussies, love Oz. :) Need to spend more time there.

Don't bother, were all under water right now. Give us some time to tidy the place up.

You guys... almost make vodka sound dignified.

I'm impressed.

Still? Rather shockingly American news media gave that almost zero attention. I heard more about it in Thailand.

1. We didn't get vodka from Russia, we invented it ourselves.
2. Lithuania always wants to be original. Mostly ends in crap.
