Wonderful thunderstorm as I was walking to the bus stop this morning. Shame it didn't last longer.

Quote from: From a DH Lawrence poem (about silent, black-and-white movies)
When I went to the film and saw all the black-and-white feelings that nobody felt,
And heard the audience sighing and sobbing with all the emotions they none of them felt,
And saw them cuddling with rising passions they none of them for a moment felt,
And caught them moaning from close-up kisses, black-and-white kisses that could not be felt,
It was like being in heaven, which I am sure has a white atmosphere
Upon which shadows of people, pure personalities
Are cast in black and white, and move
In flat ecstasy, supremely unfelt
And heavenly.

Thought it was pretty cool.

I had my award ceremony this afternoon.  It was quite rewarding.  I received quite the few awards and a medal and stuff.  Graduation is tomorrow morning and then I'll be an official college student I guess.  Probably gonna need some sleep for tomorrow, going to be out for awhile for the graduation party afterwards at my cousins.

I'm playing that Dragonball Z game for the PS2.  If you ignore that you're playing a Dragonball Z game (Or laugh at all the ridiculous bullshit like the "I'm not left handed, neither am I, well I had weighted wristbands, well I'm blind in this eye, well I'm blind in both eyes, well watch me turn into a monkey" sequences) it's actually a lot of fun.

Unfortunately I'm using an emulator that has trouble doing the analog stick rotation so I never win clashes.

EDIT:  Goku said he thought I was interesting.  I'd be flattered, but he said it with all the enthusiasm and sincerity of a 20 dollar hooker saying "Oh yeah baby"

Budokai?

Bloody hell, I loved the shit out of that game (and love Toriyama's riffing on the usual tokusatsu-show style plotline).  Especially Yamcha's silly yellow suit, and just... all that silliness.  It's great.

11/16. Huh. Houses aren't cheap there.

7 out of 16. Glad I don't live in Vancouver, those prices are horrible beyond reason. None of those "mansions" look even sightly nice. In fact, one of the crack shacks looked like the best of the 16, at least from the outside.
