 There was a bit of a tense day yesterday when a thunderstorm rolled in and a pipe for the pump system broke that morning. Cue mad dash as we struggled to use the non-fitting pipes we had available to fix it and turn on the pump before the basement flooded. It's a temporary fix we will never finish up later because it's based entirely on temporary fixes and fanciful dreams.
 It was nice. Something to get the blood flowing as you see the water actively rising in the sump pit.

And also, I found this totally sweet remake of X-Com, X-Com: The Two Sides. Dumb name, sure, but gorgeous, smooth, and it's got totally bitchin' music.

Which is really good, because it's been dry and windy out here for like, months. Then again, that's what happens when you live in middle-of-nowhere pseudo-Kansas.

We have daily showers now where I live. Then it lightly rains for the rest of the day. Really fun to get caught in one as well  :P.

I recklessly spent 10 dollars for Steam's 5 game Indie Action Pack.

I feel like this is one of my better purchases. Only problem is I can't remember the last time I've had more than one new game at a time. aaaarrrrggggghhhhh what do i do
