The best casual rules are just agreeing not to do exploits your friends don't like. I had a couple of friends that hated my tinker deck so I wouldn't play against them with it. And I had a friend or two that didn't understand banding at all so I never used my banding deck against them. Similarly I had a friend who I asked not to use his stasis deck on me since I felt it was a boring deck to play against.

This, basically. Magic is a very social game, so while it's perfectly acceptable to be a "Playing to win" type of person, it's advisable to keep in mind this is basically the same as just hanging out with your friends. Don't be a dick and your fine.

I did try to participate in a FNM once, at my local gaming store. What then proceeded was me being cordially and politely beaten into the ground. I didn't stand a chance against those guys, and they obliterated me but man they were real gentleman about it.
Squirrel Deck vs. Control Deck, god that was rediculous, he had around 20 squirrel tokens and he couldn't touch due to protection, and i can't hit him as he has so many DAMN SQUIRRELS

Bluh, MTG is the reason why I hate game geared towards tournaments. It's a natural beacon for TFGs.

I have officially taken control of my own life. Every day when I wake up, I make a schedule for my day, based on an overarching schedule for that week, and adhere to it to the best of my abilities. Previously, I was hapless out of no fault but my own. Now I get things done.

I honestly don't know what that stands for and couldn't find anything from a Google search.

E: Dem squirrels are OP.
The funnier joke was each of those tokens were buffed to 25 so one shot with any of them, the game end after a hour with Grapeshot replicated 20 times, last time i use this deck against Spawn deck.

I'd wager for That Fucking Guy or Those Fucking Guys.

New label for magic playerz now?

In the gaming community it stands for That F***ing Guy, a person (or people) that have a Win At All Cost attitude, incredibly vocal, abuse game mechanics and glitches, and usually tantrum if even the most minor thing doesn't go their way.

Seen it before.

Anyways, after God-knows how long, A Dance with Dragons is finally coming out. Day before my birthday, too.
