Tank cats.

That page crashes Firefox. That's been happening a lot today, though. Maybe I should just damn upgrade.
Nope, No crash here, Using 3.6 on vista too.

No crash either. Then again, I have NoScript and AdBlockPlus. They help when it comes to those issues. SpyBot Search & Destroy also uses immunization things for background protection. Also another safety measure.

This song made me happy today.

:I
I am a weird person. I think its just because I disregard the meaning of the song, and I take joy in the tune itself.

An article about today's LulzSec w/ Bethesda; some of the comments in the comments section are priceless.

We can’t hack them, they have all the internets! Do you have any idea how many gigabytes there are on the Internet? And how many of them are no longer under our control? There are servers in the cloud that can run thirty megahacks in parallel – and that’s just the modems!

Playing Mafia 2, and mostly enjoying it.  It's weird though, it seems like there's supposed to be sidequests, heck the map even marks NPCs to talk to, but the NPCs never, ever have jobs available.  Other than that, the game is kinda fun.

Normally I'd be against that kind of thing but they like Call of Cthulhu and I liked Call of Cthulhu, and unlike some of the other haxxerz in the spotlight they're not doing anything really harmful.  Like one of the commenters said, they're sneaking into unlocked, unfenced houses in broad daylight, eating their food, and leaving a note saying "You should probably lock that"

I'd like to use that one but it'll lose the egginess that I strive to emulate at all times.

Definitely a gold mine right there:

Just because you can, doesn’t always mean you should. What if this kind of carry on gives the people who want the internet “reined in” more ammunition? It’s the continuing saga of a few making things inconveniant for the majority. If they happen to be viewing this site, two words…grow up.

Quote
What if it’s exactly why they do that? For all we know Lulz can be just a covert-op of governments wanting to have nice reasons to “rein in”. I’m surprised few people seem to see that edge in all of this.

I have similar feelings about WikiLeaks btw. It all follows a pattern.

All this lulzsec buisness makes me consider getting Tor (somthing I just learned about) and messing around the Deep Net- with the necessary precautions, of course. Have any of you guys delved down there before?

I've got the link to the Hidden Wiki up on my screen, but have refrained from actually clicking on it yet.
