[Captain America Poster]

/holy shit this is the greatest thing anyone has ever made for a movie/
Yes, an actual movie poster again. If they can spend millions on making a movie, have some pride and spend a few grand to hire a decent graphic designer to make you a damn decent poster.

Even in the year 2011, punching Hitler is still a great way to move product.  Every war movie poster should have the lead character punching Hitler.

Is Downfall considered a war movie?

It's mysterious to think about how that would go.

Why not?

Traudl punches Hitler.  It would be amazing.

Agreed. A thousand times. You can just imagine me saying that a thousand times, because fuck if I can be bothered to type it all out, even with exponentially growing copypasta or just writing a short program to output the word "Agreed" a thousand times.

In unrelated news, I ran a D&D session today, and I think it went from really lame at the beginning (I ran a fucking awful combat that dragged on and on for about 2 hours because I was so stupid as to make the enemy rely on grappling) to really good at the end (I abstracted most of the combats the PCs were sure to win and emphasized a lot of the roleplaying aspects of getting every character's nemesis to show up over the course of a single session). I'm in an interesting position, though, where I'm not entirely sure who the "protagonist" is, though, and thus I remain unsure who the archvillain is going to be. Oh well, it'll work itself out as things go on. Or by the magic of the dice if it absolutely has to.

Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”

Have the rivals bumble over eachother in a struggle to become the archvillian. They will be eachothers foils as much as the players.

Seriously though I'd watch that just because the poster was awesome if I was walking by the movie theater and had an extra $5 in my pocket. Punching Hitler wins for me at least.

This is my exact plan, actually. It's just all going to happen offscreen and they'll never quite off each other, so that the players will have the opportunity to gain closure at the midpoint of the campaign (except for players associated with the villain who attains Real Ultimate Power). Already, one of them foiled another's world domination plan and the whole thing is starting a global clusterfuck of a war.

Starting to work out a DnD module/setting/whatever. I've got some big ideas that I want to define this by, and the completion of it will depend on my motivation to hammer out all the smaller rules and details. I'd need to redo races, feats, magic and most classes. Also, setting design, making quests and quest chains. Ergh, enthusiasm draining away as I type.
