Ye gods, the people who made Magicka are the cheekiest bastards alive.

I should totally steal their notes.

Anybody else in Sydney checked out the lights at circular quay? My god they were spectacular. I went last night, and some of the sculptures they had were just awe inspiring. The news made it sound like they just lit up the opera house, but the place is littered with a ton of other abstract sculptures, such as lights hanging from a tree with motors to look around, that react to other lights, so they end up forming a pattern of shining each other that you can interact with by using a torch or camera flash. So full of win.

It's easy, you just need to blame everything on the witnesses.

The trick is to cry like a little girl, and swear everyone was out to get you.  Shame the jury into acquittal.  Or yeah, just remind them that unless the jury has the stomach to execute you on the stand, you're just gonna be out tomorrow anyway.

Reality kinda almost followed fantasy with that guy who was found not-guilty of 284 counts of terrorism related charges, but he still lost one big important one.

So after reading all this LCS stuff here yesterday I decided to try it out again.
I just took a hostage as I desperately tried to escape a building, then had a firefight with a security guard just steps from the exit (or rather, he shot at me), nearly killing the poor scientist hostage by shot-to-lungs. I, on the other hand, escaped unharmed, and is now making the poor bastard see the Liberal Light.

Very morbid, but I kinda like this game ;)

I enjoyed demolishing conservative strongholds with squads of expendables, but keeping the Intel HQ closed up by repeatedly gunning down Agents does lose its charm after a while.

I think would too, but I'm not very versed in the game yet - I was just liberalating some cudorable bunnies and tagging the walls when suddenly all hell broke loose and people started attacking me. I didn't really plan it out that way :P
That was probably what I liked the most about it, in fact. Reminds me of JA2, the thrill of narrowly escaping death or capture when you realise your mercs are being rapidly overrun... *sigh* I wish all games were JA2 1.13.

My 76 year old member Lizabeth Torres was just arrested for drug dealing. Apparently, an old, grandmotherly woman selling brownies was not as below-the-radar as I had thought. ;)

edit: She was also badly shot during the arrest. What kind of police fires at the elderly like that?
