Friday is my last day of class, and it's going to be a short day.

My campaign in RTW is somewhat successful. My biggest problem right now is that I don't have enough relatives to govern all my cities and rule all my armies. I am also repeatedly failing Senate missions, but I don't mind that very much. They're just a pretentious bunch of old men playing at ruling the world, but the world left them behind long ago.

You too? You wouldn't happen to live in SD,  would you?

No, I'm in North Carolina. And technically, school ends here on Friday, but the next four days are make up days for those who missed or failed their finals, so I'm not going. I'm not getting up early in the morning to go to school and look at a wall all day.

Dueling church billboards.

Hahahaha. This is so great.

Dueling church billboards.
Bahahahhahahaha. Hilarious, even if there's no way it's real.

Anyway, today I looked for seasonal park jobs in Utah and other western states because I really want to go there. But I also got another confirmation from a job here that I will probably get it (apparently it's taking a long time because of bureaucracy and such) which is obviously good but man, I really want to go out west.

Yeah, they're using an online sign-maker. It's the only explanation for why the shots are in the exact same position every time.

So I just randomly met one of my former classmates on the road while I was walking the dog. That was a mildly pleasant surprise.

Had to do some Polish to German translation for my parents.
Didn't even check the dictionaries fot that. Not bad for somebody, who only speaks polish to his parents.

Also my new weekly To-Do-List idea may be working.
I've done 3 out of 7 things on it. No more forgetting, less procastinating.

Well, that's the good stuff. The rest of the day was pretty crappy...

Nope.
I'm born, raised and living in Austria. Parents were polish immigrants, though.

I've successfully talked a couple of friends into accompanying me to the local rock shop today. I'm off to spend too much money now.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.
