One of the recent dev logs mentions were-capybaras. For those who don't know what those are, they are essentially giant guinea pigs. So basically there will occasionally be giant guinea pigs chasing you around on a full moon who, if they bite you, will turn you into a giant guinea pig once in a while. Since these effects will also be in fortress mode... There is a chance, if you 'accidentally' let it spread too much, that your dwarves would once a month be swapped out with bloodthirsty giant guinea pigs. I look forward to playing version 0.31.26 of Guinea Pig Fortress.

Naturally, there are other were-creatures as well (probably all creature and vermin types actually, as a were-skunk was also mentioned), but none so funny as a fort full of were-capybaras.

Were-capybara is entertaining because capybara is a great word.  Were-skunks though?  I dunno, Le Pew Fortress would be pretty funny, maybe more so now that miasma is gone.

Based on the actual raw file for fluffy wamblers, they should appear similar to tribbles with the exceptions being them having eyes, being a good deal larger (size of a small cat) and that they all have white fur.

Wouldn't a Werembler be like humansized?  Or humanoid.  Or something in between.  If there's only thing I know from movies, it's that "were" means "half-n-half".

Weremblers would be really creepy.  Instead of a maddening hunger for human flesh, they have a maddening hunger for cuddling.
