After nothing but interference with my plans for the past few days including today, I finally got to jump into the ocean at last. Water felt nice.

Also got around to playing Pirates! (NES version on my PSP; surprisingly good quality), and I already captured 2 barques and a war galleon and my first town (Spanish town in English territory, playing as an English skilled swordsman). Captured 1 pirate, and took his boat, and scared another pirate immediately after. I also apparently have enough supplies to last me half a year easy.

Now I just need to make my crew happy. And for some reason, the themes to One Piece are starting to play in my head.

EDIT:
Upon visiting the town (San Catalina), I also got promoted to Ensign and gained 450 acres of land for my noble deeds in the same town.

Just snagged a Cargo Fluyt (Dutch) and another Sloop (pirate). The pirate's boat gave me 50 more guys for my crew. I think I have a nice size fleet now.

Sometimes it pisses me off how hard it is to convey tone over the internet. The at the end of that post was meant to signify how the entire thing was made in jest, and congratulations on you achievement, rather than the "My e-peen is longer lol" it came across as.
By the same token, I can't understand if that was intended as tongue-in-cheek, or if you were being sarcastic.

Old friend from college. We'll either head to Warhammer World or play over Vassal. Most likely WHW; experience says I crush him on Vassal 9 times out of 10, but we're evenly matched on a table.

After looking it up on TvTropes, I tried killing The End(MGS3) before you actually fight him. Not only did I get him, but I think his wheelchair or something hit me in the head.

Now I just need to make my crew happy.

Crew happiness is dependant on the amount of gold you have, and as such, it's possible to have a crew larger than the maximum gold you can carry can support.

I've been wanting to play this again. The beta was okay, but I heard it has improved a LOT since then.

I'm really enjoying it, can't compare it to beta or anything though.
