I learned I have Monday off next week(even if I don't, I couldn't get there anyway since the buses won't run anyway), and since I don't work on Tuesdays, I got a four-day weekend, followed by a three-day work week. Hell yeah. Plus, my boss said I have ninja skills, since I'm always hard to spot, even in plain sight. And this is a guy who told me of how, in his youth, he(a 6-foot something man) hid in trees wearing a ninja outfit(not making this up) for some reason.

And that's not the best part of the day. That asshole coworker of mine seems to have been fired today.

And finally, as I walked in the gate, one of my dogs set an ambush for me. He actually saw me coming from some bushes, ran into another bunch of bushes, and then came out trying to jump on my as I came in the gate.

Took awhile, but I finally got out a thorn that was stuck in my foot for a good 5 days. Thing was bigger than I thought (5-8mm long thorn). Hurt like hell the entire time. At least I can start walking properly again by tomorrow.

Did really well on my first two exams today. Biology was painful due to formatting and phrasing, but I got an 89% on it, and my two quarter grades were both A's. English I did amazing, finished in 25 minutes out of the 2 hours, got a 98%.

Had fun in a 3 player free for all game of wesnoth where I got my leader recklessly killed, then took my revenge on both sides. I nearly killed one of their leaders too before he got the other guy's leader. Should be having another game in half an hour if anyone cares... Although I should probably post that in the wesnoth thread... I guess just felt like saying that losing made me happy today.

Heh, filling out an online application obviously designed for the technologically illiterate. "Can you use a computer?" followed by "What programs can you use?" with the latter question having a tiny, 1 line text box next to it. The beginning of the application even had a 'how check boxes work' instructional diagram.

I find it both funny and sad that there is a vast majority of people out there who actually need that diagram.
