I suspect that ONR may be one of Book's friends, though.  Who knows...

ONR is ONR and is currently in good standing. That's all we need to know and care about.

Nope, not at all.  Dakarian was much more excitable, less arrogant, sounded older, and couldn't spell (the usual example of this was "I SWARE I'll hang you!").

Do you keep track of every player that comes through this place? :P

Some more interesting info about the eruption going on: It's been about a century since Grímsvötn last had an eruption this powerful; it's ten times as big as the one from Eyjafjallajökull last year. However, it probably won't cause any problems outside of Icelandic airspace, since even though there's a lot more ash it isn't being blown towards Europe.
Heh. Everybody knows you're just attemting to apply magma to the economy.

Mother surprised us by really wanting to see the next Pirates movie, brought us along.

Wasn't bad, there were no glaring bits of stupidity and the romantic subplot was restrained to some minor characters we don't care about and their lines were in hushed whispers so I don't really care how good or bad they may have had. Questionable motivations of one of them near the end. Overall not bad but nothing magical. It made me smile and not rage at anything in particular, so yeah, good.

I called every single twist that came and I'm not terribly movie savvy, so don't expect above and beyond the call of duty. It just didn't fuck up, and the fuckups that were there were weak, so whatever.
Is Depp still holding up, though? Because, to me at least, Sparrow really were the only reason I liked the old movies, but I've heard the movie suffered from "making him the main character/focus", or whatever.

...Maybe it does not belong here, though.

I don't really plan on giving this movie too much thought, there is an emptiness to it from the problems it has. Depp doesn't have any characters with a good dynamic to play around with, so he doesn't feel as good as the previous movies. They didn't fuck up by changing who his character was, but it was in a position that didn't really work out.

Yeah, the thing I enjoyed about the series, aside from Geoffrey Rush having the time of his life, was the headtrip plot arc, where everyone is constantly backstabbing everyone with better blind choreography than the fight scenes.  It's mostly what made the second and third movies watchable.  Just straight up "The Adventures of Jack Sparrow" sounds pretty meh; he was entertaining because there was something to reference him against, and a puzzle to fit his wacky hijinks into.

While using the omegle v cleverbot thing, I stumbled upon this. It's a thing which connects as many random omegle users as you want to a chatroom where you can manipulate stuff.

Why the hell does it want me to solve a captcha?

Omegle does it to check that the person using it isn't a bot.

Chatrooms within chatrooms. One day omegle will be entirely made up of cleverbots talking to each other in crowded chatrooms.

Yeah, it went out in a way that was okay. Plus it was undirected.
