I don't quite understand what's going on, but it's like the plague of locusts outside; except instead of locusts, it's love-bugs. There's just so damn many of them. Simply put, at a distance, you can see clouds of black in the air (with the occasional specks of white butterflies). Thank God they're harmless (except to the local mosquitos), unless you're driving a car and kill enough of them with it, then have fun cleaning it before their corpses corrode it worse than the salt air. I'm not kidding, it looks like something out of a horror movie outside.
That is perfectly normal. Did you just move to the south?
I've been living here for quite some time now (at least 2 decades). It's just far more dense than usual. It's probably making up for the past couple years that it was light from all the hurricanes that were passing by in the past. Seeing as it's safe here again, we've got massive swarms here. Larger than usual.

Whoohoo, beat my first boss!  This is where I got stuck the very first time I played :3
The tank? It's a bit of a tricky boss if you are not used to the controls. Grenades are one of the more difficult weapons to use.

Eh, I thought it was Ocelot, but then it turned out the one I Just Couldn't Beat was the tank.

Not actually that hard, though... I'm finding the next boss harder, but that's mostly because my strategy is usually "defense?!  HAVE SOME MORE OFFENSE."

Still, this game is ridiculously fun.

If you want an easier run of MGS, find a gamecube cheap and get Twin Snakes. MGS with redone dialogue, first person view and tranquilisers.

Nahhh, I think I'm okay with this.  Thanks, though.  I hear that the emotional tone of the dialogue was better in the original.

Also, my parents would eat me if I bought a Gamecube.  And I would eat me.  I'm holding out for the PS5, which I believe will be released about when I start actually having income.

Math finals done and there was only one problem I couldn't solve, and only two problems I had to go back to in order to solve.

My professor was telling students after their potential grades for the semester and as always I refused dejectedly, half because I just finished an immensely draining final and half because character faults. She proceeded to make an offhand retort on how I really shouldn't be negative about the grade considering.

I still didn't want to know it, but the positive comment was nice to hear as I went off.

You and me, doodabuddy, you and me.

I remember the final I took from 8-11AM on no food and little sleep, after which the professor "helpfully" went over every single problem and asked each of us how we had solved them =/  It was... horrible.  I seem to remember saying "Sorry, Professor, there must be leaving or there will be fainting because no food" at some point.

Also, dudes, prepare for takeoff.  Livestreaming nowish.

I wish I knew where to make ringtones. In a burst of inspiration, I decided this must be my ringtone. Any help?

(I figured this request is too small for its own thread, so I found the first relevant topic)

Aw fuck, nothing is worse than reviewing a test after taking it and immediately knowing just how much you messed up. Well, lack of food and sleep always take first place, but it's just two crummy situations compounding eachother.

On top of a review AFTER a final my god.
