I was looking to try nethack, because it sounds pretty cool, and Qud is kinda driving me insane. Anybody know where to get a graphical download?

Also, I'd recommend ADOM or Stone Soup over Nethack.
The latter has a graphical version.

I play stone soup sometimes, but some of the balance stuff is sort of irritating. I'll probably go back to Caves of Qud ina while just because you can stand a chance by cleaning out floors and then dragging the snapjaw loot back to Joppa, where in Nethack and crawl it is completely impossible and likely to starve you to death.

Oh my god yes it does. This is so fucking hilarious, thank you. First part of the story, anyone insulting the author is gay. Second part, author has come out of the closet and Jesus magically likes gays now.

You know about this, right? It's quite a good help for nethack.

Just saw my dog successfully defeat a gopher.

Which is surprising, considering it's an elderly and somewhat overweight Beagle with lower than average eyesight.

I saw my dog kill a baby rabbit once. He jumped off of the ATV sort of thing he was riding on with me, ran into the grass that was thirty feet away, and then jammed his head down in the tall grass so it looked like he didn't even bite it, but head butted it. Then he came back and ate while we were driving.
