My sister stopped by to visit and kept her promise. Getting my old Mac data as I type. As it turns out, everything's been backed up entirely. I'll take a bit more time to keep it isolated a bit more to ensure everything is in there and won't screw anything up. But then again, seeing as it's been hanging out in my sister's external hard drive for as long as it has, and it seems to be in good order, I suppose my data is relatively safe. If I looked at the files beforehand correctly, it's exactly the same as before I formatted my Mac with the data I previously had (with random hard drive crashes by corrupt data). Essentially, I have my old computer (before I got my PC) back. YAY!
Sweet, my old crap from 3 years ago has returned, and my desktop family is reunited.
EDIT:
Forgot to mention that the data I'm returning to my Mac is not corrupted, and the corruption errors happened after I gave my computer to my sister eons ago. That's always a comforting thought. Not only that, the data isn't as big as I thought it would be, so it didn't take long for it to return.
EDIT EDIT:
Well, that sucks. I actually got about half my crap back. She did copy a whole lot of my old data, but she forgot to include the Library folder that comes default with accounts on the machine (Where most-all of the core-data (including making the account operational when imported) really lies on a Mac. So she got the music, documents, pictures, and a stray folder or 2; but not Library or anything else related). So, a good portion of the data I really wanted back is lost forever (kudos to my formatting of the old machine). So much for my old gamesaves and etc. from the days of olde.
No wonder importing my old crap was in such safe order. It was mostly my old entertainment, none of the caches or anything. I thought she said she did a full-backup of my data.
