So I haven't driven my own car in like 6 years. Lost my license, and it just sat in the garage rotting the whole time. My brother came by, put a new battery in it, and the SOB fired right up. $100 of emergency maintenance later, it's on the road and driving almost like I never stopped. I love my little Honda, the ugly, abused, attention-getting POS that it is. And I'd forgotten how much of a human being you actually feel like when you have your own pair of wheels.

I see you have some money, if I'm not mistaken.  At this point, couldn't you just sit back and laugh your way to the endgame?

Mabi is patched up(and it only took 9 and a half hours!). They're doing some kinda Romeo and Juliet thing, which might be entertaining. And what's this I see about Homesteading?

Я не хочу работать, поэтому я гулаю на улице.

Things that made me happy today:

I could easily write that in Russian, without really thinking about it that hard.  I'm still kind of burnt-out-and-exhausted-feeling, though, so I need to take that walk :3

Just learned that my dad (who I've had no contact with for 4 years) has decided to pay for half of my college expenses outside of scholarships/grants. It means the world to me that he even cares, let alone having financial backup when I need it most.

Also had an interview for Fazoli's today and was called just after for a second interview on Thursday.

I don't know how to even describe how I feel.

Meanwhile, I've gotten my friend Jonah into it.
He's waiting for it to download and then we will go spelunking and crap.

Went through the mail just now. Got checks and letters from the four teachers I did work for this semester, and letters from two teachers that I didn't. All said, I have a huge ego boost, glowing recommendations in reserve, and $500. This is going to be a good summer if I don't blow it all in the first week of break.

I got $25 for my honorable mention in the art show. Not as good as $500, but much less work and better than a stick in the eye.
